12v and 24v LED Downlights
12 volt and 24 volt LED downlights are a great way to increase light and reduce power draw for interior lighting in your caravan, motorhome or 5th wheeler. These LED downlights are a new install fitting and require a converter to provide the correct voltage and current for the LED Downlights.
Installation:
Since the LED Downlights are complete fittings, the installation requirements will differ slightly for each individual downlight. Each downlight will require a DC/DC converter that will provide the correct current and voltage for the LED Downlights. You can view this converter by clicking on the link below:

What LED downlight should I choose?
Choosing the correct LED downlight will depend on what level of light is required and style preference. All of the LED Downlights use a configuration of 1 watt High power LED lights. As a general rule of thumb approximately 1 watt of LED lighting is equivalent to 10 watts of traditional lighting sources. For example a 3 watt Down light will best replace a 30-35 watt halogen. If you end up choosing the wrong LED light for your installation you can choose between a refund, exchange or credit. The Bulb does not turn on what do I do?
LED lights work differently than traditional incandescent lighting and are polarity sensitive try turning the bulb around and re-installing. All carvan and motorhome LED Downlights require a DC/DC Converter in order to operate. For all help regarding installation of these downlights please contact us.
How are LEDs so efficient?
LED lights maximise efficiency by converting most of the electrical energy used into light and not heat, approximately 20% of electricity is lost through heat. Traditional lighting is the reverse, vast amounts electrical energy consumed is emitted as heat rather than light, approximately 80% of electricity is lost through heat.
What is the difference between Warm White and Cool White?
Warm white is suitable for living areas and emits similar light to that of a traditional bulb, a "warmish" kind of light. Warm white is often used in living areas where a warm relaxing atmosphere is desired. Cool White would be best suited for task areas such as the kitchen. Do you sell any LED lights for 24v systems?
Yes, we sell a range of strip lights, and down lights that can be installed into a 24v system. Currently only 12v LED lights are available for retro fit bulbs if bulk quantities are equired please contact us.
