12 volt LED Strip Lights
12 volt LED strip lights are a great way to reduce power draw on your caravan, motorhome or 5th wheeler. Making the switch to LED Lighting is easy with these handy and bright strip lights. High power LED Strip lights are best used for task lighting specific areas such as Kitchens or tables while Low Power LED strip lights are best used for providing ambient light.

What LED strip light should I choose?
Choosing the correct LED Strip light will depend on your application and light level required. The 12v LED strip light range is basically divided into two categories:
1) High Power LED (aluminium) - Brightest
2) Low Power LED (plastic square) - Lower level of light
The high power LED Strip lights are great for high levels of lighting and are best suited for task lighting. The low power strip lights are best used for ambient lighting or supplementary lighting. The High Power LED strip lights use approximately 80%-90% less than their traditional lighting counterpart. Therefore an 8w LED Strip light would emit light of approximately a 70-80w incandescent bulb. The low power LED strip lights emit a much softer light, it is still enough to see by but for bright task lighting we recommend the High power strip light series. What do I do if I choose the wrong bulb?
If you end up choosing the LED strip light for your installation you can choose between a refund, exchange or credit. The Bulb does not turn on what do I do?
LED lights work differently than traditional incandescent lighting and are polarity sensitive try reversing the polarity and re-installing. If the 12v LED does not light after this please contact us.
How are LEDs so efficient?
LED lights maximise efficiency by converting most of the electrical energy used into light and not heat, approximately 20% of electricity is lost through heat. Traditional lighting is the reverse, vast amounts electrical energy consumed is emitted as heat rather than light, approximately 80% of electricity is lost through heat.
What is the difference between Warm White and Cool White?
Warm white is suitable for living areas and emits similar light to that of a traditional bulb, a "warmish" kind of light. Warm white is often used in living areas where a warm relaxing atmosphere is desired. Cool White would be best suited for task areas such as the kitchen. The Cool White bulbs appear brighter due to better reflection off surfaces. For more information about colour temperatures please see our lighting glossary or please contact us.
Do you sell any LED lights for 24v systems?
Yes, we sell a range of strip lights, and down lights that can be installed into a 24v system. Currently only 12v LED lights are available for retro fit bulbs if bulk quantities are equired please contact us.
